Food, Friends, & Fellowship

Worship services, religious exploration, pastoral care, and committee work are only part of what Theodore Parker Church is all about. We also love to have fun! Coffee hour after each service often features dips, desserts, and other delectables whipped up by the stalwart cooks among us. Candlelight dinners afford an opportunity to get to know other congregants during informal meals at one another’s homes. And various small groups and social gatherings are excellent venues for making new connections and strengthening old ones throughout the church year.

If you like to prepare, share, or consume delicious or unusual food, you’re in good company. The church played host to the first Greater Boston Kimchi Festival in 2010, which drew more than 3oo kimchi lovers to our parish house one afternoon in March. And the congregation has also contributed recipes to a cookbook  to raise money in conjunction with TasteBook. For every such cookbook you purchase, $10 will be donated to Theodore Parker Church. Thank you for your support!
