Unitarian Universalists are called to live out our values through love and justice. We recognize though that we are not alone in this work, and our community of fellow travelers includes those who have gone before and those of future generations who will carry out our unfinished work. This week, we honor the people in our past and present who have bent the world toward justice — whose hands shaped the context of our own life. UU activist and lay minister Matt Meyer leads us in a service of commitment and reflection, of song and rhythm, and a challenge to live fully in love and justice.

Matt Meyer is a musician and community organizer who has led hundreds of services for UU congregations across the country. He is a member of the UUA’s Council on Cross Cultural Engagement and is a founding resident of the Lucy Stone Cooperative in Roxbury.
