Our Lives through Story

Guest preacher and storyteller Norah Dooley will be leading the service.

Norah is an educator, author, and storyteller who performs in schools, libraries, and conferences and specializes in teaching people of all ages how important their stories are. In 2013  Norah was featured as an Exchange Place featured storyteller at the National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough, TN, the Newport Folk Festival, and several Cambridge Revels.

An adjunct professor at Tufts University’s ExCollege, Norah regularly teaches storytelling in the graduate school of education at at Lesley University, where she is an adjunct and founding member of the SEIU Local 509 union, where she is a union steward. For the past 19 summers she has told stories to thousands of children through ReadBoston.org. This summer she taught storytelling in Tanzania to a cohort of 25 English teachers from Arusha District Secondary Schools. She and her husband live in Greater Boston with a revolving subset of their four daughters.
