Reverend Lillian Nye, Minister. Lilli Nye was called to the Theodore Parker Church as Parish Minister in August, 2002. She conducts worship services two to three Sundays a month, facilitates religious education classes for adults, provides pastoral care to members of all ages, and encourages the shared ministry of the congregation by supporting its committee work, church school program, and other endeavors. She brings a longtime interest in spiritual development as well as a commitment to social engagement to her ministry. Rev. Nye has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Religion from UMASS/Amherst and a Master of Divinity from Andover Newton Theological School. Her office hours are Tuesdays, 1-4, and Thursdays, 10-2, or any mutually convenient time by appointment. She can be reached at lillinye(at)aol.com or at the church office at (617) 325-4439

Megan Gleeson, Director of Religious Education. Megan Gleeson is an educator and theatre artist. Her MFA is from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She currently teaches and directs theatre for Concord Academy's Performing Arts Department. Megan has also taught and directed children and teens from the Boston Children’s Theatre and the Apollinaire Theatre. Before coming to Boston, Megan worked with a number of theatres, including New York Shakespeare Festival in Central Park, Playwrights Horizons, Atlantic Theatre Company’s Stage 2, Abingdon Theatre, Great Lakes Theatre Festival, Chautauqua Theatre, New Harmony Project, New Rep Theatre, Stoneham Theatre and the Playwright’s Collective.

 
Michael Johnson, Choir Director. Michael Johnson is a composer, musician, producer, engineer, independent record label owner, and college professor. He holds a bachelors degree in music from the University of Colorado at Denver, and a masters and doctorate in Studio Music and Jazz from the University of Miami. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at Berklee College of Music, and a freelance musician and actor in Boston. Michael is fluent in a wide range of styles from classical to rock to world music.

Yukiko Takagi, Pianist. Yukiko Takagi received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the New England Conservatory. Ms. Takagi has performed with the orchestra of the Bologna Teatro Musicale, the John Zorn Ensemble, the Auros Group for New Music, Santa Cruz New Music Works, the Harvard Group for New Music and the Chameleon Arts Ensemble. Ms. Takagi is a featured performer with the Callithumpian Consort. Her recording of Colin McPhee’s Balinese Ceremonial Dances was released by MusicMasters.
