Annual “Tickets to Safety” campaign aids those fleeing domestic abuse

On Sunday, February 11, we will kick off our annual drive for the “Tickets to Safety” campaign. This fundraiser supports Renewal House, one of several programs that are part of the Unitarian Universalist Ministry that we partner with in Boston. Theodore Parker Church has supported this shelter for survivors of domestic abuse for fifteen years. By purchasing a symbolic ticket, you are supporting a trip to a safe haven for a person using Renewal House services. The campaign will run through February 25.¬†¬†Look for the bus near the coffee and social action tables. Purchase a $25 ticket and add a passenger to the bus. Contributions of any amount are welcome. For more information about Renewal House and this campaign, please contact Susan Caron.
