Discernment Class: February 2012
Rev. Lilli Nye will offer a four-session class in discernment practices, on Feb 8, 15, 22 and 29, from 7:30 to 9 pm, place to be determined.
Discernment is a holistic approach to decision making that takes us out of the mental habits of worrying, circular thinking and problem-solving, and drops our questions into the deeper ground of intuitive listening, embodied feeling, and the wisdom of the heart. The word “discernment” comes from the Latin “dis” and “cernere,” literally means to “sift apart.” Discernment practices may help when we are trying to sort out a major decision or approach a challenging situation in a more spiritually-grounded way, when we sense a shift coming in our life direction, or when we simply want to be in deeper conversation with ourselves. Maximum enrollment is ten participants. Please contact Lilli if you are interested, lillinye@aol.com, 617-823-9025.
