The theme of our final vespers service of the summer will be “Theodore Parker Acts:  His Fugitive Slave Act Resistance.” Julie McVay will share this exciting period in Boston’s history through the eyes of Rev. Theodore Parker and his secretary, Hannah Stevenson. We’ll end with a birthday cake to celebrate Teddy’s 157th birthday (August 24, 1810).
