When a Chinese-American police officer kills an innocent\, unarmed Black man in an unlit stairwell of a Brooklyn housing project\, and the officer is convicted of manslaughter — the first such conviction of an NYPD officer in over a decade — two marginalized communities are tangled in systems unfair to both.\n\nThe director\, Ursula Liang\, will host a discussion with audience members following the film.\n\nTPC’s Zoom Theater opens at 6:45.
