Mandorla Music productions returns to TPC on Sunday 3/21 at 8 PM with drummer and composer Brooke Sofferman. His five releases as a leader have earned rave reviews from publications like the Boston Globe and Downbeat, and he’s in demand as a sideman locally and in New York. He has been teaching at his alma mater, the New England Conservatory of Music, for 20 years, in addition to teaching posts at Berklee and UMass Boston. He’s joined in Adventure Time by alto saxophonist Rick Stone, guitarist Nate Radley, and bassist Sean Farias. Together, they play energetic and creative modern jazz, both original compositions and inventive arrangements.
