With her powerful voice and prodigious guitar skills, Kerri Powers can do it all — blues, soul, original folk rock, and even a twang of country folk.

Kerri was a regular in her teens and twenties in New England, then took time off to raise a family. In 2014, she jumped back into the music scene and has been unstoppable ever since. Her album “Love Is Why” hit the Roots Music Report Chart as the #1 Acoustic Blues Album in 2023, and her single, “When it Rains,” held the #1 spot for rock song for several weeks.

Kerri not only plays the usual clubs and festivals around the country; she also teaches at WUMB’s Summer Acoustic Music Week.
