Back at MoC by popular demand, the Heather Pierson Duo comes to us from Maine, bringing their lively and diverse repertoire of ragtime, traditional, jazzy folk and original songs of unity and peace. Heather’s inspiring live performances with bassist/guitarist Shawn Nadeau pulsate with the grooves of New Orleans, the beauty of Appalachia, and Sunday-go-to-meeting celebration. Whether playing stride piano, strumming a banjo or her late father’s Gibson, wielding a melodica, or singing the blues, the many iterations of Heather Pierson unite in a unite in a warm and genuine presence, both onstage and off.
