Join TPC member Rebecca Priest for a presentation on the spirituality of aging and the theory of gerotranscendence. Drawing on her work as a geriatric social worker, Rebecca will offer an introduction to gerotranscendence — a developmental theory which proposes that old age has its very own meaning and character, which are of value and important to develop — and explore the spiritual journey of aging within a culture that often devalues this phase of life.

Rebecca will be leading an Adult Religious Education course on the same topic beginning in January. This presentation will be an introduction to the course material, but will be open to all. Please email Rose and Rebecca with any questions.
