The meditation group meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at 7 p.m. in the parish hall parlor. We read a short poem and then share silent meditation time together for about 25 minutes. All are welcome to drop in. |

The theme of our final vespers service of the summer will be "Theodore Parker Acts: His Fugitive Slave Act Resistance." Julie McVay will share this exciting period in Boston's history through the eyes of Rev. Theodore Parker and his secretary, Hannah Stevenson. We'll end with a birthday cake to celebrate Teddy's 157th birthday (August 24, 1810). |
