This Sunday ends our theme of journey. Heraclitus of Ephesus was apparently the first to offer the wisdom, “No man steps in the same river twice, for it’s not the same river and he’s not the same man.” Gender exclusion aside, we’ll think about how we get from here to there in our life journeys, and what bridges we build to get there. (I know the quote begs a question: Are we stepping in the river, or going over it? We’ll think about that, too.)
