Theologian Martin Buber described humans as “promise-making, promise-keeping, promise-breaking, promise-renewing people”. Instead of any creed, at the heart of our Unitarian Universalist faith is covenant — the sacred promises we make. In these times of challenge and division and uncertainty, what does it mean to be a promise-making people, and what are the sacred promises we are making?
We will have two age-separate religious education classes for children: Chalice Circle (K-3rd graders), and UU Explorers (4th-7th graders). Both will begin after our Time for All Ages. Childcare for children under 4 is available in our nursery during the whole service.
