The Myth of Our Separateness

In a culture that prizes independence, embracing our interdependence can be an act of rebellion and resistance. Together we explore what we can learn from the natural world — and each other — about the nature of our connections.

We also celebrate our annual Backpack Blessing. We invite people of all ages (but especially those going back to school this fall) to bring any kind of bag that accompanies you in life (backpack, work bag, diaper bag, purse, or anything else!) to please bring it on Sunday to receive a blessing and a charm, so you can be reminded of the love you carry with you from this community out into your daily life.

We will have two age-separate religious education classes for children: Chalice Circle (K-3rd graders), and Justice Seekers (4th-7th graders). Both will begin after our Time for All Ages. Childcare for children under 4 is available in our nursery during the whole service.
