In this time of great concern about our democracy, we look toward our namesake, Theodore Parker, and wonder what he might have to say to us in this moment. In this service we will explore who he was, his legacy of abolition, and how his wisdom resonates through the ages, and hear a special reflection from church member Julie McVay.
This week, we will have two age-separate religious education classes for children: Chalice Circle (K-3rd graders), and Justice Seekers (4th-7th graders). Both will begin after our Time for All Ages. Childcare for children under 4 is available in our nursery during the whole service.
Our Zoom link for this service is here: https://zoom.us/j/96469349357, and you can access this week’s order of service here.
